‘That’s a Bad Sign’: Videos Captured an Unusual Moment
Richie was in the middle of his June 25 performance at Grand Casino Arena when he suddenly appeared unable to continue as usual. During “Dancing on the Ceiling,” typically one of the most energetic numbers in his setlist, the singer sat down on a platform onstage while continuing to perform.
Addressing the audience, Richie joked about the situation while acknowledging that it was unlike anything he had experienced before. “Now, what I have learned about my years of being in the business. When you are feeling busy, sit your [expletive] down. Ha ha ha ha ha ha! And when you are feeling strange about yourself, sit your [expletive] down.”
