MY MOTHER MADE ME CHANGE SCHOOLS EVERY YEAR UNTIL I FOUND MY FACE ON A MISSING CHILD POSTER 😭💔😳

Growing up, my mother never allowed us to stay in one place for too long.

Almost every year, we moved to a different town, and every single time, I had to start over at a new school. Whenever I complained, she always claimed she was “protecting us from bad people.”

PART 2
At first, I genuinely thought my mind was playing tricks on me.
I stood frozen inside the crowded taxi rank staring at the faded missing child poster while people pushed past me without noticing anything was wrong.
The little girl in the picture looked exactly like me when I was younger.
Same eyes.
Same birthmark near my eyebrow.
Even the same hairstyle my mother always forced me to keep throughout childhood.
My stomach tightened painfully.
Then I noticed the age progression sketch beside the old childhood picture.
And that was what truly terrified me.
Because the older version looked almost identical to my current face.
My hands immediately started shaking.
The poster explained that the child disappeared years earlier from another province while playing outside a shopping centre. According to the information beneath the photograph, authorities suspected kidnapping.
My breathing became uneven instantly.
No.
It had to be a coincidence.
It had to.
Yet deep down, fear had already started crawling through my chest because suddenly…
My entire childhood stopped feeling normal anymore.
The constant moving.
The fake stories about “bad people.”
The way my mother panicked around police officers.
Even the fact that I never once saw my birth certificate properly.
Everything suddenly felt suspicious.
I quickly tore one of the smaller contact tabs from the poster before leaving the taxi rank in complete shock.
The entire journey home, my thoughts raced uncontrollably.
At first, I wanted to confront my mother immediately.
But something stopped me.
Fear.
Because for the first time in my life…
I realized I might not actually know who my mother really was.
That night, I secretly searched through our house while she slept.
At first, I found nothing unusual.
Then finally, hidden beneath clothes inside her wardrobe, I discovered a locked envelope containing several old newspaper clippings.
And the moment I opened them…
My blood ran cold completely.
Every article spoke about the same missing child from the poster.
Me.
One newspaper even included photographs of grieving parents begging for information about their daughter’s disappearance.
Tears filled my eyes instantly.
Because deep down…
I already knew the horrifying truth before my mother even confessed anything.
