“Do you fully understand why you are sitting here today?” one specialist inquired politely.

“Because my wife believed that a liver infection had stolen my intelligence before taking my life,” Calvin answered directly.

Meanwhile, Paula gathered extensive paper trails documenting Amber’s private consultations with property appraisers, local banks, and estate attorneys. A local real estate agent officially confirmed that Amber had requested formal market estimates for two private apartments long before Calvin received his final diagnosis. The prospective buyers who inspected the Ford Mustang testified under oath that Ruby had assured them the owner would pass away very soon. Furthermore, Dr. Gable verified that Amber had repeatedly insisted on avoiding the critical drainage procedure that ultimately saved her husband’s life.
