immediately noticed her.
The young woman looked unusual. Her arms, neck, and even part of her chest were covered with tattoos. She barely spoke to anyone, rarely lifted her eyes, and always kept to herself.
Most inmates loved talking about newcomers, but this girl gave no one any reason to gossip. She calmly followed all the guards’ instructions and never interfered in other people’s business.
However, there was one rule in this prison that every newcomer learned very quickly.
There was a woman whom everyone feared. Her name was Vanessa.
At the mere sight of her, many inmates lowered their eyes and tried to stay out of her way.
She was huge. Nearly two meters tall, heavily built, and incredibly strong. People said that a single punch from her could knock someone unconscious.
Over the years, she had turned the lives of many inmates into a living nightmare.
Some washed her clothes. Some cleaned her cell. Others gave her part of their food. And some carried out the most unpleasant tasks for her simply because they were afraid to refuse.
If anyone tried to argue with Vanessa, the consequences were usually very unpleasant.
She loved humiliating people in front of other inmates and constantly reminded everyone who was in charge.
That was why most people simply obeyed her.
For several days, the newcomer didn’t attract her attention.
But one day during lunch, everything changed.
The prison cafeteria was almost completely full. Inmates sat at long metal tables, quietly talking among themselves.
The newcomer sat alone in a corner, calmly eating her lunch. That was when Vanessa finally noticed her.
She watched the girl for a few seconds from across the cafeteria, smirked, and slowly walked straight toward her table.
The conversations around them gradually died down.
Many people immediately understood what was about to happen.
Some even stopped eating.
Everyone knew that when Vanessa chose a new victim, nothing good could come from it.
When she reached the table, she stopped directly in front of the girl and looked at her tray.
“Hey, hand over your food.”
The newcomer calmly looked up.
“That’s my meal. Go get your own.”
Several inmates nearby exchanged surprised glances.
No one had ever heard someone speak to Vanessa in that tone.
But the girl looked completely calm.
Vanessa narrowed her eyes.
“I’m still hungry. Give me the food. You can go without eating for a day. It won’t kill you.”
“No.”
The answer came calmly and confidently. Without fear. As if she were facing an ordinary woman rather than the most dangerous person in the entire prison.
For several seconds, the cafeteria fell completely silent.
Many already knew this was going to end badly. Vanessa’s expression changed instantly.
She was used to people obeying her after her very first command.
She hadn’t expected a refusal like that.
The next second, she grabbed the metal tray and violently yanked it toward herself.
All the food flew onto the floor.
Rice, vegetables, and meat scattered across the tiles.
A wave of shocked murmurs swept through the cafeteria.
Vanessa looked down at the girl and smirked.
“Do you even know who I am?”
The newcomer remained silent.
“Get on your knees right now. You’re going to pay for your behavior.”
But the girl didn’t move.
She remained seated, calmly staring at her tormentor.
That behavior finally pushed Vanessa over the edge.
Without saying another word, she grabbed the girl by the shoulder and tried to drag her off the bench by force.
Several inmates turned away in fear.
Vanessa was certain that within seconds the newcomer would be on the floor, begging her to stop.
She had no idea that she was making the biggest mistake of her entire time in prison.
Because the mysterious tattooed girl was not at all who everyone thought she was.
And within a few seconds, the entire cafeteria was about to learn the truth about who she really was…
